How fees work
Plain answers before you book. Fees depend on the provider and the length of the visit, so we explain how they are set and give you an estimate in writing.
Insurance we work with
Each provider bills the plans they are in network with, and plans differ by provider type. Many PPO plans that include an acupuncture benefit, and many plans that cover physical therapy or chiropractic care, work with us. Ask the front desk about the provider you plan to see.

If you pay yourself
If you pay yourself, the fee depends on the provider and the length of the visit, and your provider tells you before care starts. Many health savings and flexible spending accounts cover care here; ask your plan administrator before you book.
Receipts for reimbursement
If a provider is out of network with your plan, you pay at the visit and we give you an itemized receipt, called a superbill, that you may send to your plan. Whether it pays you back, and how much, is the plan's decision.

Is there a copay or a deductible?

An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, you have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost before you start. We give you one before the first visit. If the final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you can dispute it. The estimate is not a contract.
Checking your benefits
Before your first visit, the front desk checks your benefits for the provider you booked and tells you what your plan said. If something changes, we call you.
What the first visit includes
A first visit runs longer than the visits after it, and its length depends on the provider. We tell you how long when you book. Its fee is on your estimate or in your benefits check, and your provider explains what to expect before anything begins.
- Medicare covers acupuncture only for chronic low back pain, with set limits and under a qualified provider's supervision. Ask us what applies to you.
Questions about paying

What if I do not have insurance?
